PROTECTS TIMBER AND REDUCES SPREAD OF FLAME

Give your project a touch of warm sophistication with natural real timber wall & Ceiling cladding.

A wide selection of Fire Retardant Reclaimed Timber Cladding Options available.

Wilsons Yard in partnership with HALT,  provides an industry leading, innovative timber treatment process utilising BURNBLOCK®, which is an environmentally friendly, natural fire retardant.

Our treatment is suitable for both internal and external timbers such as facade and wall cladding, decking, flooring, doors and more.

We are the only supplier currently offering this service in Ireland, and all orders are impregnated and supplied from our CE and UKCA certified facility in Belfast.

HOW DOES IT WORK

HALT applies a highly effective and non-toxic fire retardant from our partners BURNBLOCK®, consisting of only natural ingredients combined in a patented formula.
This process effectively prevents oxygen from reaching the treated object – and without oxygen: no fire.

We provide a highly effective and well documented fire retardant which is invisible and when applied correctly, leaves no trace of grease or staining, making the material ready for further treatments.

• Once absorbed by the treated material, a surface remains that can char and release water upon application of heat. This process absorbs a portion of the heat and helps prevent further occurrence and spread of fire.

• Materials treated with BURNBLOCK® by HALT are, therefore, protected from combustion and any spread of flame.
